It depends on which ( movie,series) version we get. Survival rate is the amount of humans who will survive and carry on.

Night of the Living Dead zombies, slow, stupid, easy to kill. Humanity survival rate is probably better than 50%.

Dawn/Day/Ect of the Dead zombies, not quite as stupid and easy to kill, Humanity survival rate 30%

Walking Dead zombies, stupid, hard to kill, highly infectious, tendency for herd dynamics and overrunning defences. Humanity survival rate 10%

Is it possible for a zombie apocalypse?

No.

It takes energy to think and move. You and I get that energy from food and oxygen. A zombie without a functioning digestive system to get nutrients, or a heart to pump it around, could not think or move. The undead rising is impossible. Well, congratulations

Even if zombie apocalypse does occur I've got few survival tips for you

1) (how to kill zombies) To kill zombies, you need to destroy their brains. And if i were to suggest you a few weapons they would be (chainsaw, machete, and samurai sword)

2) (best place to survive a zombie outbreak)

Farm

Walls can be built around farm if the farm is not so huge, you can grow your own vegetables. You'll have enough food to not become zombie food. zombie apocalypse is a win win for vegans

3) (staying with group) staying with group is the best option to survive, but be careful while trusting the people you dont know so well, sometimes even the living can be dangerous than the dead.

4) (killing the living) you'll have to kill people, killing people will be the only option after you run into other groups, you won't be the only one who is surviving. Only option will be left KILL OR DIE
